About
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Facility: Lake City Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Lake City, Florida
Salary: Up to $18.00 per hour
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
Support safe resident transfers, including lifting, positioning, and mobility assistance using proper techniques.
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental status to nursing staff.
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing linens, ensuring personal spaces are tidy, and promoting hygiene.
Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
Assist during recreational activities to encourage engagement, social interaction, and physical activity.
Monitor and assist with dietary needs, ensuring residents are hydrated and have their nutritional needs met.
Accurately document care activities, including daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida.
Dedication to improving residents’ quality of life with a professional and caring attitude.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or assisted living environment (preferred but not required).
