Project Engineer – Manufactured Products (Full-Time) Industrial Profile Systems – Akron, Ohio Salary/Exempt Job Description The Project Engineer will need to react quickly and proficiently to the customer’s requirements with the ability to multitask across multiple projects and other job duty tasks and have strong mechanical aptitude, great organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency using Solidworks. Why You'll Love Working With Us: Full-time position with growth potential Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance—starting just 31 days after you join 401(k) retirement plan with eligibility beginning after just 60 days Bi-weekly pay schedule for consistent and predictable income Generous paid time off to support work-life balance Competitive pay range – let’s talk about what works for you Job Responsibilities - Project Mechanical Engineer Coordinate multiple projects ranging in various size Produce custom design solutions using IPS standard products that fit into our customer’s needs Communicate with IPS customers as needed during the sales process or assigned project Customer support as need be to support IPS products Work closely with existing and future suppliers Track current projects and maintain delivery schedules for all assigned projects Construct proper bills of materials and router steps for manufactured products using the company’s ERP software program as needed Communicate with all departments, customers, and suppliers efficiently Assist in maintaining the highest quality of product provided by Industrial Profile Systems Prepare formal proposals on standard and custom products Assist customers and sales with their CAD data requests Be a confident supplier of solutions to our customer base Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed Desired Skills creative solution finder Must be able to work independently with little supervision Must be hands on and have the ability to understand and demonstrate our products effectively Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Preference will be given to those candidates with knowledge of Microsoft Business Central Company Description Industrial Profile Systems, formerly MB Kit Systems, LLC, is the premium provider of engineering and design services utilizing our structural aluminum and modular components to create mechanical hardware solutions across a wide range of industries.
