This role will be responsible for analyzing operational, labor, and sales performance across multiple restaurant locations and building high-impact dashboards, scheduled reports, and data models with restaurant technology platforms such as Aloha POS, Compeat/Restaurant365, Hot Schedules and UKG Pro, and understands the operational drivers of a multi-unit restaurant business. This position works cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, HR/Payroll, Marketing and IT to deliver actionable insights that improve profitability, guest experience, and operational efficiency. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting Develop, maintain, and automate daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards (sales, labor, COGS, comps, voids, tip reporting, and guest trends). Build, standardize, and optimize reporting using: Aloha (sales, labor, product mix, void/comps analysis) Cpeat/Restaurant365 (inventory, COGS, AP, forecasting) Hot Schedules (forecasting, scheduling, labor optimization) UKG Pro (HR metrics, labor dashboards, turnover reporting, and compliance analytics) Create KPI scorecards for multi-unit leadership and location-level managers. Analyze restaurant labor efficiency (guest count trends, server productivity, overtime, labor variance). Conduct menu engineering analysis, profitability modeling, and product mix reporting. Support weekly and monthly business reviews with data insights and visualizations. Data Management & Integration Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across POS, back-office, payroll, and scheduling systems. Build ETL processes and data pipelines to consolidate information from multiple restaurant systems. Troubleshoot discrepancies in POS, payroll, and accounting reports and partner with IT/Operations to resolve root causes. Operational & Financial Insights Analyze guest patterns, table turns, check averages, and location-level performance. Provide insights on food cost variance, inventory accuracy, and waste. Support forecasting for sales, labor, and expenses. Develop recommendations that drive cost savings, labor optimization, and improved guest experience. Projects & Cross-Functional Support Lead analytics projects related to new openings, menu changes, pricing updates, and labor model improvements. Support HR/Payroll with reporting needed for compliance (tip reporting, overtime, FLSA audits). Partner with Finance to streamline period-end reporting and improve visibility into prime costs. Qualifications
35 years of hands-on experience in restaurant or hospitality analytics (multi-unit preferred). Advanced proficiency in: Restaurant POS systems and Scheduling systems Restaurant Accounting and General Ledgers systems HRIS systems such as ADP and UKG Pro (People Analytics) Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions) Power BI or Tableau (dashboard building and DAX skills strongly preferred) Strong understanding of restaurant financials and operations: sales trends, labor forecasting, prime costs, menu mix, COGS, and inventory. Experience supporting executive leadership with reporting for 10+ locations. Competencies

Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer (up to 8 hours per day). Ability to view and analyze data on multiple screens/monitors. Occasional travel to restaurant locations (515%) to support audits, openings, and operational reviews. Ability to lift up to 1015 lbs occasionally (laptop, equipment, small office supplies). Working Environment
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office/production setting with adequate ventilation. Salary range starts at $80,000; final compensation depends on education, years of relevant experience, depth of restaurant analytics, technical proficiency (Aloha, R365/Compeat, UKG Pro, HotSchedules), as well as current market conditions.
