In this position, you will play a key role in driving and optimizing Trench Group's sales performance. Your responsibilities include analyzing critical sales KPIs, supporting strategic planning, and managing contracts and bids to ensure alignment with global business objectives. You will enhance the company's sales approach by conducting performance analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the development and adjustment of regional sales strategies. Additionally, you will oversee the agent and distributorship network to maintain compliance and efficiency. You will also contribute to digitalization initiatives to improve sales processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize communication and achieve sales KPI targets.

Your Tasks:

  • Sales Controlling: You will analyze and control Sales-related KPIs such as Order Intake, Gross Profit in Order Intake, and Accounts Receivables, ensuring alignment with the global Trench business approach.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: You will prepare and review Sales and offer volume, hit rate, and win/loss analysis to drive business performance according to global targets. Additionally, you will identify growth opportunities to support the definition and adjustment of regional Sales strategies.
  • Strategic Planning Support: You will support the annual Strategic Planning process, including Trench Market Pulse, Country Strategies, quarterly Forecast, and Budget planning processes for all Sales-related KPIs, with the necessary sales channel and product type breakdown.
  • Contract Management and Bid approvals: You will review terms and conditions, prepare customer contracts, and support negotiations with customers, particularly for multi-factory packages, large projects, or frame agreements. In addition, you will coordinate the bid release process and prepare bids for Management escalation.
  • Agent & Distributorship Network Administration: You will manage our growing Agent and Distributorship network (~80 globally), ensuring efficient reporting, due diligence, and compliance adherence
  • Digitalization Initiatives: You will proactively contribute to digitalization initiatives within the Trench Group Sales organization, including the implementation of tools such as Offer management tools, Contract revision tools, and Reporting in Tableau and Power BI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize information flow and communication, supporting the achievement of Sales KPI targets.

  • Educational Background: A Master's degree and/or Diploma in Business Economics.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrable experience in a global professional or corporate setting in a Sales, Project Management or Controlling function.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Data analytics, data visualization with Tableau and/or Power BI, Sales, Controlling
  • Project Management: Established skills in project management and process optimization.
  • Collaboration: excellent collaboration skills and foster teamwork across various levels of the
    organization.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential, German language skills are a plus
