Border Patrol Agent

This is a career ladder position with opportunities for advancement. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and protecting the nation's borders.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws,
• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders,

Qualifications:

1. You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level performing duties such as detecting contraband, preventing violations, inspecting documents, making arrests.
