Intelligence Border Security Specialist

This position involves working with a team to safeguard America's borders and its citizens by detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.

• The typical assignments include patrolling international boundaries using vehicles, horses, vessels or off-road vehicles; inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;
• Making arrests after completing required training in law enforcement matters such as criminal code enforcement;

To be eligible for this GL-5 grade level position applicants must have one year of general work experience demonstrating ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations, learn regulations through classroom instruction; OR possess a bachelor’s degree with superior academic achievement based on class standing GPA honor society membership etc.
