Position: Application Specialist - Drupal QA Location: Trenton, NJ - hybrid 2x/week onsite Project Start: Early March Project Duration: 6 month plus Must have 4-6 years experience with Drupal development, Playwright, PHP Must have Bachelors Degree Acquia Drupal Developer Certification Preferred Job Description We are looking for an Application Specialist - Drupal QA to collaborate with teams and stakeholders to develop, test, deploy, and enhance Drupal websites. This position will be a full-time, hybrid, 6-12 month contract. With employees expected to work onsite 2 days per week. What You ll Do Develop, apply, and implement tests and automated testing Troubleshoot issues and provide insights on how to solve them Keep tests up to date with the latest code changes and deployments Collaborate with other team members and teams on projects to plan, develop, test, deploy, support, and enhance Drupal websites Work independently and efficiently as required Communicate and meet with management and stakeholders to better understand business requirements Implement best practices and standards for website accessibility according to the latest published guidelines Participate in code quality checks and deployment processes Work directly with cloud platform vendors and infrastructure support teams to create and manage cloud-hosted website environments and code repositories Perform code updates to ensure websites remain stable and secure Stay up to date with the latest in Drupal developments and trends Provide guidance and mentorship to team members regarding best practices and efficient use of Drupal Ensure all websites meet Judiciary standards for information security What You'll Need Required: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related field 4 years of experience in Drupal site building, features, and theming 4 years of working experience with Drupal 10 and 11 ecosystem components (Git, Composer, TWIG) 4 years of understanding Drupal architecture and developing a strategy for site testing 4 years of experience using Playwright test automation framework 4 years of experience with Drupal user interface development, including user experience, theme development, and customization of community themes 4 years of ability to code and debug in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery 4 years of experience working in an iterative development environment (Jira, GitHub Projects, Agile, SCRUM) 4 years of keeping tests up to date with the latest code changes 6 years of experience with advanced PHP development frameworks and workflows (Symfony, Composer) Preferred: Acquia Drupal Developer Certification 4 years of familiarity with Acquia tools and solutions (Cloud IDE, Acquia Pipelines, BLT, DDEV, Acquia Cloud) Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
