This position involves working in a law enforcement capacity, safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
The role requires the ability to speak and read Spanish as well as English. You will be provided with training to become proficient in the Spanish language at the Academy.
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents & possessions.
- Pursuing undocumented noncitizens & smugglers at or near border areas through surveillance from covert positions.
- Interpreting tracks, marks, & other evidence for illegal entry or contraband using skills acquired during farm checks,
