We have the following position (m/f/d) to fill in the Office for Digitalization, Smart City, and Information Technology - Information and Communication Department - as soon as possible:

The Information and Communication Department is the internal IT service provider for municipal offices, city councils, and schools. We maintain a professional and future-oriented IT and telecommunications infrastructure with over 200 servers and more than 2,400 clients at 95 locations.

• 1st and 2nd level support, including on-site support, documentation, and assistance with rollouts
• Independent error analysis and troubleshooting of client systems
• Participation in the further development of school IT
• Ongoing analysis and assignment of technical inquiries to the relevant departments in the ticket system
• Support in the selection, introduction, and procurement of software and hardware, as well as inventory management

• University degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, or alternatively, completed training as an IT specialist for system integration with several years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of current Microsoft products and application programs
• In-depth knowledge of servers, firewalls, and networks
• Enthusiasm and motivation to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills
• Helpfulness, enjoyment of problem solving, and customer focus
• Enjoyment of working in a team
• An independent and structured approach to work and the ability to work under pressure
• Decision-making skills, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
• Business fluent German, both written and spoken
• Valid class B driver's license
