How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as an MRI Technologist by accurately positioning patients and selecting technical parameters for cross-sectional scans.
  • Provide direct patient care and education throughout the imaging process to ensure safety, comfort, and clinical accuracy for every patient.
  • Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to manage patient pre-screening, scheduling, and clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American
      Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS) also
      accepted.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonograph (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
    • Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
