Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) * Medication administration per physician orders * Physician ordered treatments for: * Nutrition via a feeding tube * Tracheostomy care * Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal * Ventilation care * Seizure assessment and treatment Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) * Current, active Florida LPN license * Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online) * G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train * TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF) * Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed) * 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website) About Care Options for Kids Care Options for Kids is the leading provider of pediatric nursing services.
