Duties/Skills
Analyze, design, develop and deploy high-quality object-oriented solutions per requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug applications and analyze log files, including working with profilers/debuggers.
Experience in creating custom Magento 2 Modules.
Participate in the requirements gathering process.
Works within and collaborates with a balanced project team or teams.
Writes elegant, readable, reusable, and well-documented code.
Works with code quality tools and writes unit tests.
Works with continuous integration tools.
Actively participates in code reviews.
Works with REST APIs (creating and/or consuming).
Works with source control programs like SVN or GIT.
Works with project tracking software such as Jira.
Strong communication skills when speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Works in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment.
Experienced and comfortable working with, maintaining and troubleshooting code on production systems with 24x7x365 uptime requirements.
Looks for efficiencies and optimizations when designing/building solutions.
Has strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
Highly accountable for their work.
Can work independently
Can potentially lead and inspire a team of junior engineers
Education and Experience:
2+ years of working experience working with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2)
Working knowledge of GraphQL
Developer or architecture certification on Magento 2 is a bonus
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, particularly MySQL
Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Strong competence in performance tuning & developing efficient and performant multi-threaded, modern applications a must
Experience in performance tuning web applications and especially Magento a major plus
Bi-lingual is major plus (English and Spanish)
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 10 hours per week.
