We are looking for someone who can think strategically about profitability, scalability, and technical efficiency along with aesthetics.
Project Scope
1. Full Website Redesign:
Redesign using our existing brand guidelines and brand kit
Improve visual consistency and user experience
Identify and resolve current layout and UX issues
Create a streamlined, conversion-focused storefront
2. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
Improve performance across:
Homepage
Product pages
Collection pages
Cart & checkout experience
Implement CRO best practices to increase engagement, reduce drop-offs, and improve overall conversion rates.
3. On-Page SEO & Performance Optimization:
Page speed optimization
Image compression and optimization
Structured heading hierarchy (H1–H6)
Proper meta tags implementation
Schema markup (where applicable)
Technical clean-up to improve Core Web Vitals
4. Affiliate Program Setup:
Set up a basic Affiliate Marketing Program within Shopify
Shopify Collabs or similar solution
Ensure seamless integration with minimal additional app costs
5. Reduce Third-Party App Dependency:
Audit current paid apps
Replace app-based functionality with custom code where feasible (Liquid / HTML / CSS / JS)
Recommend cost-effective alternatives
Improve overall site performance and reduce monthly recurring expenses
Project Objectives:
Optimize the store for long-term profitability and scalability
Lower monthly app/plugin expenses
Improve conversion rates through UX/UI improvements
Maintain brand consistency while upgrading visuals
Create a faster, more streamlined storefront
Improve overall performance and operational efficiency
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience with Shopify theme customization (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Strong understanding of eCommerce CRO principles
Experience implementing on-page SEO best practices in Shopify
Familiarity with affiliate program setup (Shopify Collabs or similar)
Experience replacing app-based functionality with custom implementations
Ability to recommend and execute cost-saving technical improvements
Strong portfolio of Shopify redesign and optimization projects
