Job Description
We're hiring an Operations Assistant for E-commerce who is strong in data handling and reporting. This is not a routine admin role, but it does include structured, repeatable work that must be done accurately.
You will help export, clean, organize, and analyze data, then turn it into clear reports and updates. You should be comfortable in Google Sheets, detail-oriented, and able to write professional emails in clear English.
Key Responsibilities
- Export data from different tools and organize it into clean, structured spreadsheets
- Accurately copy and transfer data between systems and trackers with high attention to detail
- Maintain and improve Google Sheets trackers and dashboards
- Build and update weekly and monthly reports for operations reviews
- Analyze trends and identify issues in metrics, workflows, and performance
- Create pivot tables, summaries, and simple charts that are easy to understand
- Write clear internal updates and customer-facing emails when needed
- Support process documentation and basic SOP upkeep
- Handle repetitive tasks consistently and accurately
Requirements
- Strong Google Sheets skills, including formulas and pivot tables
- Strong with numbers and comfortable working with metrics
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to copy and verify data accurately
- Comfortable handling large datasets, cleaning data, and standardizing formats
- Strong written English and professional email writing skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Enjoys repetitive, process-driven tasks and can maintain accuracy over time
- Availability: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a few hours of overlap with US or EU business time
Nice to Have
- Shopify experience is a plus
- Experience with e-commerce operations, reporting, or customer support metrics
- Basic dashboard experience
- Google Sheets Apps Script is a plus
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
