About
Target - Validate and prototype an approach to automate creation of fabrication drawings from a structured takeoff sheet/data (Excel) and revisions/provided data.
Scope
ā¢ Review our current workflow and inputs (Excel takeoff + change notes).
ā¢ Build an automation approach that can:
- Read structured data from Excel
- Generate/modify AutoCAD drawings using templates/standards
- Place common components
- Support revisions (client changes / field measurements)
- Phase 1 (Discovery)
Review our process and samples
Define what can be automated + recommended approach
- Phase 2 (Prototype)
Import data and generate a first-pass drawing using a provided template
Must-have: proven AutoCAD automation experience

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: AutoCAD automation development, Data-driven drawing generation, CAD standards & drafting discipline, Experience with shop drawings / fabrication workflows, Autodesk AutoCAD, CAD, Task Automation, Automation
