About The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Welder Apprentice ready to build hands-on skills and grow alongside experienced professionals. If you're eager to learn, passionate about working with your hands, and committed to doing the job safely and right, this is your opportunity to shine.
You'll support welding operations, assist in reading blueprints, and safely handle tools and materials—all while gaining the experience needed to become a fully certified tradesperson.
What You'll Do
Assist with MIG and wire welding processes under supervision
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specs
Support equipment setup and operation (GMAW, plasma, oxyacetylene)
Inspect and clean work areas and materials
Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE
Take part in team meetings, training, and improvement projects
What You Bring
Registered Apprentice Welder or working toward certification or wanting to obtain their certification
Eagerness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, crouch, bend, and stand for long periods
Must pass drug/alcohol, audiometric, and fit-for-work testing
Clean-shaven for respirator use
Working Environment
Exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and machinery
Fast-paced, supportive shop environment
PPE and safety gear provided
