About

I'm looking for a developer to help build and refine a mobile web workflow that connects a QR code scan to a short recording session and automated delivery of the resulting media file via email. The system runs on a VPS and integrates with a third-party email marketing platform via API.
Scope of Work:
• Improve and stabilize an existing mobile web flow (QR → form → recording → processing → email delivery).
• Implement reliable email capture with validation and a fallback "re-enter email" option.
• Ensure session persistence so users can return to the page after recording.
• Connect backend events to an email automation platform via API/webhooks.
• Optimize for simplicity and reliability in a self-serve kiosk environment.
Requirements:
• Strong JavaScript (frontend) and backend experience (Node, Python, or similar).
• Experience with REST APIs and webhook integrations.
• Familiarity with VPS deployments and file handling.
• Mobile browser UX experience preferred.
Deliverables:
• Working production-ready workflow.
• Clear documentation for maintenance.
• Light support for testing and launch.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
Optional skills: NGINX, Python, JavaScript, HTML, API
