Role Overview
Drake Property Management is seeking a driven, high-performing Mobile Leasing Agent with a strong sales background and proven closing ability to join our growing team.
This role operates within a centralized leasing model supporting a residential portfolio primarily across Hamilton. Agents are typically assigned to a core geographic area, with cross-coverage in other locations as business needs require. Lead intake and appointment scheduling are handled through a centralized call centre, allowing Leasing Agents to focus on showings, prospect engagement, and lease conversion, while also having opportunities to generate their own leads.
Our portfolio includes a mix of professionally managed residential rental communities, including mid-rise and high-rise apartment buildings and multi-building communities across urban and suburban markets.
The Mobile Leasing Agent is responsible for supporting occupancy goals across the portfolio by delivering a consistent, professional leasing experience from prospect inquiry through lease execution and move-in coordination. The role combines sales performance, customer experience, and operational collaboration with site teams and centralized leasing functions.
Core Responsibilities
Support leasing activity across a large residential portfolio by conducting showings, engaging prospects, and facilitating lease completion.
Provide rotating on-site coverage at assigned communities in alignment with leasing schedules and portfolio needs.
Deliver professional suite tours, qualify prospective residents, and guide applicants through the leasing process.
Manage follow-up communication and maintain strong conversion discipline for both centrally scheduled and self-generated prospects.
Contribute to additional lead generation through advertising platforms or outreach where appropriate.
Maintain current awareness of suite availability, pricing, incentives, and local market conditions.
Coordinate with site administration and operations teams to support approvals, move-ins, and resident onboarding.
Represent the company professionally in all prospect and resident interactions, contributing to positive reputation and resident experience.
Maintain accurate activity tracking and provide updates on leasing progress and market feedback.
Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Compensation and Travel
Competitive base salary aligned with experience, complemented by a performance-based commission structure and additional earning potential tied to leasing results.
Commissions are paid on each executed lease, consisting of:
A base commission per completed lease originating from the centralized call centre pipeline, and
An additional bonus commission for leases generated through the agent's own advertising, outreach, or lead generation efforts that did not originate from the call centre.
Mileage reimbursement is provided for required travel between properties.
KPIs and Performance Expectations
Performance in this role is measured using defined operational and sales metrics, including monthly lease targets, appointment-to-lease conversion ratios, lead follow-up completion timing, showing attendance and completion rate, and portfolio occupancy.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience with demonstrated closing success.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
Mobile phone required.
Willingness to travel regularly across Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, and Newmarket.
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed.
Working knowledge of leasing procedures, the Residential Tenancies Act, and Ontario Standard Lease requirements.
Ability to quickly learn company systems, workflows, and portfolio details.
Experience using Yardi or similar property management or CRM platforms is considered a strong asset.
Comfort working with centralized scheduling workflows, digital listing platforms, and leasing software.
Motivated, outgoing, results-driven, and eager to grow within the organization.
