About

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth through the sale of company products and services to assigned and target customers within the Alberta Oil Sands (Fort McMurray) region. This role manages key accounts, builds long-term customer partnerships, and identifies opportunities to expand business within existing and new markets.
In this role, you will consistently meets or exceeds sales targets while serving as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring seamless service, accurate forecasting, and responsive solutions. By collaborating cross-functionally and maintaining regular communication with customers, you will ensure customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and sustained revenue growth.
Candidates must be based in Fort McMurray for this position. This role is Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week.
Responsibilities
Responsible for attaining or exceeding the annual sales budget for the assigned customers
Communicates weekly to identify account priorities
Responsible for inventory forecasts, sales administration of new items, resolving customer supply emergencies and everyday needs
Has an integral role in new business pitches and holds responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
Develops sales programs designed to achieve budgeted sales volume.
Focuses on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
Requirements
At least 4 years of related experience, or combination of education and experience
Proven account management and relationship-building skills
Experience within the NDT, Rope Access, Oil and Gas or Engineering space
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet-based tools
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
