Purpose of role

Agrisan  is an essential service manufacturer of specialty chemicals and pharmaceuticals, located in Arthur, Ontario. This position is responsible for supporting the filling, labelling and packaging of products.  This is a part-time, contract role.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Boxing/packaging products, applying labels, loading/stacking products to skids.
• Clean and maintain the equipment and immediate work area throughout the shift.
• Perform manual tasks, requiring care and attention to avoid injury to self or others.
• Strictly adheres to GMP, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Guidelines.
• Wear proper PPE when performing duties. PPE includes but is not limited to cartridge respirator.
• Wash and rinse containers.
• Sleeve and label containers.
• Work in powder production area operating powder mixer, bagging/boxing product, and staging components.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
• Capable of reaching, lifting (50 lb) and working from a platform.
• Works cooperatively in teams communicates clearly and has effective listening skills.
• Tow motor experience is an asset but not required. Great strategic and creative thinking skills.
