A leading provider of supply chain solutions in Des Moines, Iowa, is looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Associate. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that products are managed efficiently from arrival to departure. You will be involved in various warehouse tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling. The ideal candidate will be dependable, physically fit, and possess a strong commitment to workplace Safety . We provide comprehensive training and all required PPE for all tasks. This position requires regular Lifting of items and the ability to stand for extended periods. Your contribution to our Logistics network is essential. Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory.
- Stocking shelves and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification provided if needed).
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assisting with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Following all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
