In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and staging orders for shipment, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This position is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from our facility to their destinations. You will work in a team-oriented environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to perform your duties efficiently. Safety is our top priority, and all associates are required to wear appropriate PPE and follow strict safety protocols. The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to handle tasks involving significant lifting and manual dexterity. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in loading outbound trucks.
- Report any equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Capability for consistent lifting and manual tasks.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
