This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are moved efficiently and safely throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and staging materials for production or shipment. This is a physically active role that demands reliability, efficiency, and a strong adherence to safety protocols. We provide a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries. The ability to perform lifting up to 60 pounds regularly is required, along with comfort in a dynamic warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Organize and stack inventory according to warehouse layout and safety standards.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments and assist with order fulfillment.
- Perform inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handler or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
