We are hiring an Order Picker for our bustling warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products to fulfill customer orders. This position is a key component of our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. You must be detail-oriented, able to work at a fast pace, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to navigate the warehouse effectively. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items carefully for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or hand trucks as needed.
- Verify picked items against order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Follow safe lifting procedures to prevent injury.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to read picking lists and identify products accurately.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
