Responsibilities:
- Select and gather products from warehouse shelves according to digital or paper pick lists.
- Examine products for any damage or defects before packing.
- Package orders securely using appropriate materials, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Confirm order accuracy against pick lists to minimize errors.
- Apply correct shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain the tidiness and organization of your workstation and assigned warehouse areas.
- Follow all established safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, to prevent accidents.
- Support inventory management by assisting with cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve and exceed productivity targets.
- Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance warehouse skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to interpret order instructions and work with RF scanners.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and reach for prolonged periods.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and a commitment to upholding them.
- Reliability in wearing provided PPE.
