We are hiring Order Pickers to join our vibrant team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse storage locations, preparing them for shipment. Precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are key to this role. You will utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and scanning technology to manage your workflow and maintain inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and ensure order accuracy.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and packing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Report any operational issues or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
