Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer specifications and order tickets.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts after training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Follow established procedures for all warehouse activities and logistics operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a logistics setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance expectations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
