Exciting opportunity for an experienced Reach Truck Operator in Cincinnati, Ohio! If you are skilled in operating reach trucks and have a proven track record in warehouse environments, we want to hear from you. This role is essential for the efficient storage and retrieval of goods within our state-of-the-art logistics facility. You will be responsible for operating the reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and we provide all necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve products in high-level racking.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and storage areas.
- Ensure accurate product placement and inventory counts.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient operations.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking, packing, or shipping.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
- Valid certification or proven ability to operate a reach truck safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety principles and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights safely.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE at all times.
- Understanding of logistics workflows.
