- Read order tickets or use RF scanners to identify and locate items to be picked.
- Retrieve correct items and quantities from warehouse shelves.
- Accurately count items and verify product information.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Notify supervisors of any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily picking goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
