In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your precision and speed directly contribute to our customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. This position involves walking, standing, and regular Lifting of items. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you will be required to follow all safety procedures and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary. We provide thorough training on our picking and packing systems and encourage a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and has a strong work ethic. You will work closely with inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for damage and verify quantities.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety standards and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks to move goods.
- Report any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and accuracy of the picking and packing department within our logistics network.
