We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our Des Moines, Iowa warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail is key to ensuring that customers receive the correct products in excellent condition. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, directly impacting order accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will be working with a variety of products, requiring careful handling and efficient movement. This role involves regular Lifting of packages and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as required.
- Report any issues with orders or inventory to a supervisor.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the packing and shipping department in our logistics facility.
