You will work closely with the packing and shipping departments to ensure a seamless transition of orders. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves extensive walking, standing, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Safety is our utmost priority, and you will be required to strictly follow all safety protocols and utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). We offer thorough training on our warehouse management system, scanning technology, and safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing process.
- Maintain an organized and efficient picking path.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Communicate any picking discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is highly desirable. Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. Willingness to strictly adhere to safety guidelines and wear PPE.
