Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be instrumental in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves managing inventory, coordinating staff, optimizing storage space, and maintaining effective communication with other departments and external partners. You will be responsible for supervising material handlers, clerks, and other warehouse personnel, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed effectively. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing inbound and outbound shipments, managing dock schedules, and resolving operational issues. A thorough understanding of Logistics , inventory management systems, and warehouse best practices is essential. You will also ensure that all company policies, particularly those related to Safety and the proper use of PPE , are strictly followed by your team. This position may require some Lifting and the ability to oversee physically demanding tasks. We are looking for a leader with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Your role is critical in maintaining the smooth flow of goods and optimizing our supply chain operations. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Manage and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring efficient task allocation.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions for maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise inbound and outbound shipment activities, including scheduling and processing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and regulations.
  • Enforce the correct use of PPE by all warehouse personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth Logistics .
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • May involve occasional moderate to heavy Lifting and direct supervision of such tasks.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and ensuring proper use of PPE .
  • Ability to manage physically demanding tasks and occasional heavy Lifting .
  • Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach.
