We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Tampa, Florida. This versatile role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Storing inventory accurately and efficiently in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking and preparing customer orders for shipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conducting regular inventory checks and participating in cycle counts.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assisting with shipping processes, including labeling and documentation.
- Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including Lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions carefully.
- Must be reliable and able to work assigned shifts.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
