We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient handling of goods. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders with accuracy, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will be an integral part of maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all employees must follow established protocols and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate manual and powered equipment as trained (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Support team members and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency in logistics.
- Report any issues with equipment or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
