As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing items for customer orders, playing a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate shipments. Your duties will include using scanning devices to locate products, verifying item numbers and quantities, and consolidating picked items for packing. This fast-paced role demands accuracy and efficiency. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, all employees must follow rigorous safety protocols and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The job requires you to be on your feet for extended periods and involves regular lifting. Previous experience with RF scanners and order picking systems is a significant advantage. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements using scanners.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other lifting equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in identifying discrepancies.
- Meet established productivity and quality goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative warehouse atmosphere.
