Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for quantity and condition.
- Sort, organize, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and deliver materials to production areas or order fulfillment stations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and warehouse aisles are kept clear.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or safety hazards.
- Assist in loading outbound shipments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting and manual dexterity.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
