Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock received merchandise into designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using order sheets or scanners.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring proper labeling and product protection.
- Stage completed orders for outbound shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting and physical stamina.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if needed.
- Dependable and punctual.
