Job Summary:
We are seeking an efficient and organized Receiving Clerk to join our growing logistics operation in Dallas, Texas. As the first point of contact for all incoming goods, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and the smooth flow of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include meticulously checking shipments against purchase orders, inspecting all items for damage, and accurately recording received goods into our warehouse management system. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are crucial for success. You will collaborate with various internal departments and external vendors to resolve any discrepancies, ensuring all transactions are correctly documented. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to strictly follow all safety procedures and utilize appropriate PPE at all times. This role requires consistent standing, walking, and the capacity for lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
  • Verify contents against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
  • Document all discrepancies or damages and initiate corrective actions.
  • Enter received inventory data accurately into the WMS.
  • Organize and stage received goods for put-away.
  • Liaise with suppliers and transportation providers.
  • Maintain organized receiving areas and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse role is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Understanding of logistics principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to PPE requirements.
