Join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders by picking items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is essential to our distribution operations, ensuring that our clients receive their orders correctly and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will utilize scanning technology to locate products, carefully select the correct items and quantities, and then expertly pack them for safe transit. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy go hand-in-hand. Maintaining a safe workspace is a top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This role involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and consistent lifting of items weighing up to 45 lbs. Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehousing, or a related logistics role is a definite plus. Responsibilities:
- Pick correct items and quantities according to customer orders.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to navigate warehouse and locate products.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work.
- Ability to interpret pick lists and product information accurately.
- Skilled in basic packing techniques.
- Capable of performing repetitive lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols, including PPE.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
