Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring all inventory data is up-to-date and accurate within our system. This position is crucial for optimizing warehouse efficiency, minimizing stockouts, and preventing inventory loss. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor stock levels and implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory.
  • Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in the inventory management system.
  • Track and manage returned items and damaged goods.
  • Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory processes.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory status, accuracy, and adjustments.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and RF scanning technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
