Become an Order Picker on our energetic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas! We are seeking organized and efficient individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves, verifying order details, and preparing items for the packing station. Accuracy and speed are essential in this role to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain efficient warehouse operations. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety; all associates must follow safety protocols and wear provided PPE. This position requires physical activity, including significant Lifting and walking throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely when needed.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity targets.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Support the overall flow of logistics within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform substantial physical activity, including frequent Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable and punctual with good time management skills.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
