Join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Shipping Clerk and be at the forefront of our outbound operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of all outgoing shipments. Your duties will include verifying order details against shipping manifests, selecting appropriate packaging materials, accurately labeling packages, and coordinating with carriers for pickup. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our logistics process, ensuring that products reach our customers in perfect condition and on schedule. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You must be adept at using shipping software and understanding shipping regulations. A commitment to safety is paramount; all employees are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques when handling packages. The ability to perform tasks involving lifting up to 30 lbs regularly is necessary. We are seeking motivated individuals who are team players and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Verify outgoing orders against shipping documents.
- Select appropriate packaging for different types of products.
- Label all packages accurately with shipping information.
- Generate shipping labels and prepare manifests.
- Coordinate with transportation carriers for package pickups.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations.
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and label printers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability for lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
