Our Omaha, Nebraska distribution center is hiring a Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team! This role is crucial for ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for efficiently locating items, verifying quantities, and securely packaging them for delivery. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Use scanning devices to track inventory movements.
- Stage completed orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking or packing experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
