About
Our Baltimore, Maryland location is looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our team. This role is essential for managing the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse, contributing directly to the efficiency of our supply chain and logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating equipment, moving goods, and ensuring accurate inventory placement. We prioritize the safety of our workforce and expect all team members to follow strict safety procedures and utilize provided PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and stack materials in a safe and orderly manner.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including wearing required PPE .
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material flow.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
