Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming merchandise.
- Verify packing slips against received goods for accuracy and discrepancies.
- Tag and label inventory appropriately for tracking and storage.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Communicate any receiving discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organized and clean receiving areas.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required PPE .
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics flow.
