Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Stack and organize inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
  • Perform daily inspections of the forklift, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily logistics goals.
  • Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Certified or demonstrably experienced forklift operator.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Ability to perform physical duties, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of forklift operation safety procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Understanding of logistics principles.
