Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift, reporting any issues immediately.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily logistics goals.
- Perform other warehouse-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Certified or demonstrably experienced forklift operator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Understanding of logistics principles.
