Job Summary:
Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in Denver, Colorado, and be an essential part of our efficient logistics network. In this role, you will manage the accurate and timely processing of all inbound freight. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, meticulously checking received items against purchase orders and invoices, identifying and reporting discrepancies or damages, and ensuring that all data is accurately entered into our inventory system. Maintaining a safe and orderly receiving dock is paramount.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and other relevant documentation.
  • Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages found in shipments.
  • Accurately record received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Organize and stage received items for internal distribution or put-away.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments regarding incoming goods.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in receiving, shipping, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory tracking software.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain terminology and processes.
  • Willingness to wear and maintain all required PPE.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
