Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our **logistics** team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing inventory records, and implementing procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. A strong focus on **safety** and proper **PPE** usage is essential. This role requires analytical skills and the ability to manage physical inventory tasks, including **Lifting**.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
  • Identify damaged or expired goods and manage their disposition.
  • Ensure warehouse organization and **safety** compliance.
  • Train and guide other team members on inventory control best practices.
  • Adhere to all **PPE** and **safety** regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of **logistics** and supply chain principles.
  • Understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures.
  • Ability to **Lifting** up to 40 pounds.
  • Commitment to wearing required **PPE**.
