We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position is critical for maintaining the flow of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, moving inventory to designated storage areas, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory counts. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all employees must strictly adhere to established protocols and use required PPE. This role involves regular physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possess valid equipment certifications, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. You will be an integral part of our Logistics operations, ensuring materials are handled efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Receive, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Transport inventory to designated storage locations.
- Support inventory management through cycle counts and record keeping.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment before use.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, free from hazards.
- Comply with all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Use all required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Perform tasks involving substantial Lifting and manual handling of goods.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our Logistics processes.
